Fridge repairs for apartments and built in fridges
Apartment fridges are often built into cabinetry with little room to breathe. We repair them where they stand and work around lifts, parking and building rules.
Same day often available · 12 month warranty on our work · Price agreed before we start
Why apartment fridges fail
Built in and integrated fridges sit inside a cupboard. They rely on vents in the kick panel or the cabinet to get rid of heat. When those vents are small or blocked, the fridge runs hot and parts wear out early.
Many apartment kitchens also sit against a wall that gets afternoon sun, or next to an oven. Both add heat the fridge has to fight.
We deal with the building
Tell us if we need to book the lift, use visitor parking or check in with building management. We bring our tools and parts up in one trip and protect your floors.
Most repairs are done without pulling the fridge out of its cupboard. When it has to come out, we tell you first.
What we fix most in apartments
- Fans and condenser parts worn out by poor air flow
- Integrated fridges from Fisher & Paykel, Bosch, Miele, Liebherr and others
- Water line leaks that could reach the unit below
- Door hinges and seals on panel doors that have dropped
- Noisy fans and compressors in open plan living areas
Questions
Do you need to take the fridge out?
Usually not. Most parts can be reached from the front or with the fridge slid part way out. We tell you before we move anything.
Can you work with my strata or building manager?
Yes. Let us know the rules when you book and we will follow them.
Do you repair European built in brands?
We repair most of them. Tell us the brand and model when you call and we will confirm before we come out.
